C++ Developer (2 days in the office)

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the technical backbone driving the success of CTERA’s solutions. You’ll tackle complex challenges, develop custom setups that mirror real-world environments, and directly influence the quality of enterprise solutions for customers worldwide. This position is an opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and elevate our solutions with your technical expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and resolve advanced technical challenges, supporting global sales and delivery teams with expert advice.
  • Customer Impact: Design and replicate sophisticated environments to ensure exceptional performance in real-world use cases.
  • Escalation Specialist: Act as the primary engineering contact, collaborating with support and engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize customer solutions.
  • Hands-On Product Mastery: Stay on the cutting edge with CTERA’s evolving products, enhancing your skills across various OS and network technologies.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science from a recognized university with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Proficient in C++ with a solid knowledge of its ecosystems and at least 5 years of hands-on relevant experience.
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications and knowledge of concurrency patterns.
  • Experience with SQL and running database queries for debugging.
  • Proficiency with Linux and a solid understanding of Windows and Mac OS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in networking, preferably with a CCNA certification.
  • Proficient with cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS and Azure).- not a must, not expertise of platforms
  • Experience with virtualization frameworks.
  • Experience with storage protocols (SMB, NFS) is an advantage.
  • A team player, self-motivated with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
