DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a  DevOps Engineer to join our growing organization.

In this role, you will help us take our customers’ experience to the next level.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
Implement features for our infrastructure.
Review the security practices and defenses and continuously stay ahead of common threats.
Analyze the performance and stability of the infrastructure and applications to propose and implement improvements proactively.
Participate in the planning, estimation and architecture phases with help from our lead engineers.
Perform code reviews on devops related code and help your colleagues ensure our high-quality bar is met.
Our tech stack, tools and practices:
Backend: Python 3, Django, Celery, MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ.
Frontend: TypeScript, React, React Router, React Query, Tailwind CSS, Ant Design, ESLint, Prettier, Jest.
Codebase hosted on GitHub.
Full CI/CD environment via Jenkins, Ansible and Ansistrano.
Fully automated provisioning using Ansible.
Code review for every change.
Continuously updated dependencies and no legacy components.
Production error & performance monitoring via Sentry and Datadog.
Requirements:
4-5 years of relevant experience
Self-motivated and responsible.
Experience managing Linux systems via the shell.
Know your way and navigate freely in Linux systems.
Proficiency in shell scripting.
Experience in designing and operating networks.
Have general knowledge of network security and work in a security-minded manner. Strong expertise in network security is not a requirement.
Good general debugging abilities.
Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
Ability to read and understand Python.
Proficient in English – familiar with basic business etiquette.
Eager to learn and develop your career.
Extra Credit:
Writing scripts in Python and other similar languages.
Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and code, pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, working with git/branches/commits, yaml, json etc.
Experienced in optimization analysis, troubleshooting/best practices, and procedures.
