Front-End Infrastructure Engineer - hybrid

What you’ll do:

  • Developing, implementing and supporting robust, scalable solutions to improve business Front-End capabilities
  • Build a robust, generic, performance-optimized design system components
  • Have full ownership of your projects. Gather requirements, create a plan, and be part of the execution.
  • Design and Build infrastructure tools to improve DevEx, dev-velocity, customer satisfaction, application performance
  • Experiment with different frontend libraries and incorporate them into an infrastructure.
  • Code mostly with Javascript but not bound to a specific library or a framework such as Angular, React, Vue, and Lit (web components)
  • Ensuring our code is of the highest quality by practicing and evangelizing engineering best practices

 

What to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial engineering, Maths, or other numerate/analytical degree equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of frontend development using any modern library/framework.
  • Deep architectural understanding of web applications. Understanding networking, Events cycle, module loading, styles implications, and performance caveats. 
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with frontend tools such as Bable, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions
  • A passion for front-end development and always seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge.
  • End-to-end testing with Cypress or similar
  • “Can Do” attitude, a true team player, and with a developer experience mindset.

Advantage:

  • Knowledge of web performance: tools, optimizations, architecture.
  • Experience with Micro frontends concept and module federation
