Role Summary:
As a WordPress Developer at The B Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing WordPress-based websites and projects. You will work closely with our team of developers and designers to create high-quality, scalable, and secure websites. Your expertise in WordPress, along with your ability to work efficiently in a team, will help us deliver exceptional results to our clients. We believe that in-person collaboration fuels creativity and teamwork, so you’ll be an integral, on-site member of our fast-paced development team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, optimized, and compliant with web standards.
•    Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
•    Use the WordPress multi-site version to implement flexible websites.
•    Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to create comprehensive WordPress solutions.
•    Perform website updates, plugin integrations, and website migrations without data loss.
•    Troubleshoot and fix issues related to WordPress websites.
•    Optimize website performance for speed and SEO.
•    Ensure website security by implementing best practices and security plugins.
•    We hold daily customer sessions where you’ll actively contribute insights, updates, and technical expertise to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
•    Participate in project planning and provide estimates for tasks.
•    Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in WordPress development.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    3+ years of experience in WordPress development. Knowledge of the WordPress multisite version is a definite plus as one of the projects in the shop is implemented using this version of WP.
•    Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
•    Experience with integrating third-party API-s with WordPress (Payment, Tracking, CRM).
•    Experience with LMS systems (LearnDash).
•    Experience with custom plugin development.
•    Experience with developing custom functionalities for builders (Elementor, GridBuilder, ACF).
•    Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
•    Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques.
•    Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
•    Proficiency in using Git for version control.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•    Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
•    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
•    Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
•    Education in computer science or related field.
