Description of the role:
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join our agile team working on ship intelligence and digitalization software.

Job responsibilities:

Review test reports, investigate failures, open bugs and track their lifecycle
Develop, execute and review test cases (manual or automated), scripts, plans and procedures
Write scripts and use tools to automation the testing process, enabling faster and more efficient validation of the software
Be part of agile team and work closely with developers, PM and PO
Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project

What you need to succeed:

Good understanding of software development lifecycle
Possesses analytical, logical and creative thinking
Thoroughly understand the project requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Experience in designing and implementing custom testing frameworks
Programming skills (JavaScript, Python)
Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of database concepts
Writing and maintaining automated scripts
Integrating Automated tests with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Analyzing the test results and reporting defects
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent spoken and written English
