As a Game Mathematician, you'll work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams including artists, developers, mathematicians, testers, and product managers to drive innovative game design and mathematical modeling. You will contribute significantly to the game development process by crafting innovative mechanics and dynamic algorithms that define and enhance the overall gameplay experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping engaging and immersive gaming worlds that captivate players.

 

What will you be doing? 

• Mathematical Modeling: Develop and refine mathematical models and game descriptions that underpin our gaming products, ensuring accuracy and balance.
• Implementation Support: Work closely with the back-end development team to assist in the implementation of mathematical frameworks within our games.
• Collaboration: Partner with front-end developers, back-end engineers, and game producers to create cohesive and captivating gaming experiences.
• Documentation: Write and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation and descriptions for all mathematical models and game mechanics.

 

Who are you?

• Strong Mathematical Foundation: Proficiency in probability theory and statistics, with the ability to apply these concepts to game design.
• Programming Skills: Familiarity with one or more popular programming languages, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams.
• Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, facilitating clear dialogue with team members and stakeholders.
