Telecom engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by providing supreme technical solutions and support.
  • Responding to service calls to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems.
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance and manage escalations.
  • Create, document, update, escalate, and resolve cases in CRM system.
  • Working on shifts.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant customer service (Phone or Email) and/or technical experience with a wide range of support and services applications.
  • Experience in working with customers.
  • Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Even better if you have:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Familiar with mobile networks and protocols (GSM, UMTS, 2G-3G-4G, LTE).
  • Experience with application installing or upgrading, writing SQL queries, performing backup MySQL.
  • Experience with VM environments (VMware, XEN).
  • Experience with network monitoring platforms (Nagios).
