About the role
Title: Senior QA Fullstack Engineer
Function: Engineering
Reporting: Head of Engineering
Location: Bulgaria
What you’ll do
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test cases for major projects, maintenance, and emergency releases
• Design and implement automation test scripts, debug issues, and define corrective actions • Identify, analyze, and report test results
• Report, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system
• Investigate defect reports from production support, isolate their causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve and retest fixes
• Prepare test documentation and review with development teams when necessary
• Work closely with engineering and development teams to design testing strategies
• Interpret quality assurance issues and problems for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Strong expertise in automation testing for web-based and mobile applications
• Solid experience in manual testing
• Proficiency in writing new test cases based on requirements
• Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks
• Experience developing, documenting, and implementing quality assurance standards
• Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing (PC and mobile)
• Strong knowledge of testing methodology and tools
• Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Web/Mobile testing experience using Selenium, Appium with JavaScript/Node.js)
• Experience in API and Web Services testing
• Proficiency in tools like CodeceptJS, BrowserStack
• Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and GitHub
• Android and iOS development experience (strong experience on one platform is a plus) • Good English communication skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• BSc in Information Management Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Experience with Docker is a plus
• Knowledge of security testing is a plus
