Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage patch management strategies for all operating systems and applications across the organization

• Coordinate and deploy security updates and patches to ensure systems are protected against known vulnerabilities

• Monitor patch release cycles and proactively assess applicability and risk to organizational assets

• Schedule and automate patch deployments to minimize user disruption and maximize coverage

• Collaborate with the business units to coordinate patching windows and address unique requirements

• Maintain a feedback loop with end-users to address concerns and minimize disruptions

• Ensure all devices are compliant with security policies, standards, and regulations

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for patch management processes, vulnerability assessments, and security configurations

• Develop, refine, and implement troubleshooting procedures

• Manage escalations and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams

• Contribute to the self-service knowledgebase, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation

• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts

• Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in patch management, system imaging, and application deployment in enterprise environments

• Proficiency with endpoint management tools (e.g. Syxsense, Intune, or equivalent), desktop and server operating systems, Entra, and ticketing systems

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Familiarity with IT security standards and best practices

• Experience in scripting or automation using PowerShell, or similar tools

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams

• Experience working in regulated environments is a plus
