Main purpose of the job:
Ensure the quality and performance of software products by implementing effective test automation strategies and methodologies within the product development team. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues early in the development lifecycle and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Tasks & responsibilities:
● Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifi cations.
● Perform automated test automation to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in software applications.
● Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and functionality, ensuring that test automation aligns with both technical and business expectations.
● Monitor and report on test automation progress, defect status, and software quality metrics to stakeholders.
● Participate in design and code reviews to proactively identify potential quality issues early in the development process.
● Implement and maintain automated test automation frameworks and tools to optimize test automation effi ciency and coverage.
● Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to test automation processes, procedures, and quality standards.
● Conduct regression test automation to ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
● Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation and test automation.
● Contribute to creating a culture of quality within the product development team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Talent & Skills:
● Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test automation strategies.
● Attention to detail: meticulous in identifying issues and verifying that software meets specifi ed requirements.
● Profi ciency in test automation tools: experience with automated test automation frameworks and tools postman and Cypress.
● Demonstrable experience with non-functional testing such as performance and security.
● Strong experience of load / stress testing using JMeter, Gatling or K6.
● Collaboration skills: work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance product quality.
● Problem-solving: ability to creatively troubleshoot defects and propose practical solutions.
● Good communication skills: clear and effective in articulating test automation insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education & working experience:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fi eld
● Experience: Minimum of 3 years in test automation or test automation roles within product development teams.
● Hands-on experience with both automated test automation processes.
● Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
● Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C, or Python for test automation is a plus.
● Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
