The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a talented Product Owner to lead the development of intuitive front-end features for our cutting-edge sportsbook platform. In this role, you’ll manage a detailed product backlog, collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams, and act as the Product Owner in Scrum ceremonies to deliver engaging user experiences. With proven experience in Sportsbook or related digital products, a strong understanding of betting user journeys, and expertise in Agile frameworks, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions that meet market demands and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities of this role include:
Define, prioritise, and maintain a detailed and well-organised product backlog for front-end teams.
Write clear and comprehensive user stories, flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including UX/UI designers, development teams, and QA, to deliver intuitive and engaging sportsbook features.
Communicate regularly with clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment with their needs and business goals.
Act as the Product Owner in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
Ensure continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and iterating on processes and products.
Lead the conceptualisation, development, and rollout of front-end features for the sportsbook platform, ensuring they meet market demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that balance performance, usability, and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with trends and innovations in the sports betting industry.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product improvement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the sports betting industry or a related digital product domain.
Strong understanding of sportsbook platforms and betting user journeys.
Hands-on experience working in a Scrum Agile framework.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in the sports betting industry.
Location & Ways of Working:
We’re hiring EU passport holders for this role in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Latvia, Malta, and Gibraltar, with the working arrangement (fully remote, hybrid, or office-based) depending on the specific location requirements.
