PHP Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems to support automation and process optimization for e-commerce businesses.
Design and implement robust APIs to ensure seamless integration with external tools and platforms.
Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data handling for large-scale e-commerce transactions and workflows.
Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments to maintain system reliability.
Uphold high code quality standards by implementing best practices such as testing, code reviews, and adherence to development guidelines.
Support the scalability of the platform to handle growing e-commerce business demands.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in server-side programming, with experience in PHP or similar languages.
Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrations.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for scalable application deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing workflows and data handling.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis or Memcached for optimizing platform performance.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
Understanding of containerization tools like Docker.
Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for minor adjustments when needed.
