Description of the role:
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join our agile team working on ship intelligence and digitalization software.
Job responsibilities:
- Review test reports, investigate failures, open bugs and track their lifecycle
- Develop, execute and review test cases (manual or automated), scripts, plans and procedures
- Write scripts and use tools to automation the testing process, enabling faster and more efficient validation of the software
- Be part of agile team and work closely with developers, PM and PO
- Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project
What you need to succeed:
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Possesses analytical, logical and creative thinking
- Thoroughly understand the project requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience in designing and implementing custom testing frameworks
- Programming skills (JavaScript, Python)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of database concepts
- Writing and maintaining automated scripts
- Integrating Automated tests with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Analyzing the test results and reporting defects
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
